I feel I should recount my experiences of 18 years ago.
We were visiting the Kruger Park with family when we stopped on the side of the road to purchase fruit. On my return to the car, I was glancing over my shoulder, when I walked into a signboard severely hitting my head. I was in excruciating pain and could hardly speak.
Fortunately my problem did not manifest itself until after the holiday when I commenced having severe pain down my right arm. I believe that there was a nerve that was being pinched in the neck which travels down the arm through the shoulder and elbow. I could hardly use my arm.
After a visit to a very prominent neurosurgeon, who showed me the latest technique of replacing a disc in the neck with a rather large nut and then a metal plate and eight screws, I felt I was not ready for this operation and had to investigate other means. I decided to pay a visit to a doctor at the Newlands Sports Science Institute for another opinion. I was advised to have the operation.
On leaving the establishment, I met a very charming lady that asked me if I was in pain. On recounting my story, she advised me to see a DPPT practitioner as her husband and son visited him and had had remarkable success. On the very same day, I met a bowling colleague on my way home and we exchanged pleasantries and on hearing my problem, she too advised me to see a DPPT practitioner.
This was rather coincidental and I therefore made an appointment and after 4/5 treatments, my pain had subsided and I could carry on as normal.
As my medical aid would not cover these fees, I informed them that this procedure had saved them the expense of a very costly operation and they actually paid my Directed Pressure Point Technique fees. Here I should mention that I have not had one iota of discomfort since having DPPT treatment.
This is why I have returned to you, as I am having trouble with my knees. There has been a great improvement in a month and I intend returning for treatment if necessary.
Thank you for your dedication and consideration.
Yours sincerely
Betty
