I am 43 years old and have been undergoing Directed Pressure Point Technique treatments for the last 4.5 years. During this period my body has transformed from a very “old person” back to a young one. Those who don’t believe me don’t bother reading further, those who do, this is my history.
Since I can remember I always had some kind of bone and muscle problems. As a toddler I had flat feet. As a kid my legs were very sore, especially in winter and I was told I had “growing pains” I even remember borrowing my grandmother’s stick to support my aching legs. At the age of 21 I had a locked back for the first time. At the age of 27 I had a pinched nerve in the right shoulder. During my twenties I was getting locked in my back at least once a year and in my thirties more often. I always had to be very careful with heavy objects and I could only sit with a supporting pillow, my knees started giving in and eventually at age of 39 a sciatic nerve pinched in my left leg.
Lots of this was caused by various sport interests I loved practicing. From a very young age I started with swimming, then tennis, in winter snow skiing, in summer windsurfing (sometimes 5 hours a day) and during school years all sorts of group sports. I simply loved sports but my body could not tolerate so much of it. Eventually I had to stop it all. I could still do swimming though which became my passion. During my thirties I braved the gym and I loved class workouts but I soon had to give it up as my knees could not take it anymore. Climbing one flight of stairs seemed like climbing a mountain as my knees would be “on fire”. I might have been 39 when the sciatic pinched, but my body was of a much, much older person. It was then that I was advised by my GP to visit a Directed Pressure Point Technique practitioner, and I started with treatments. In 4.5 years I have been undergoing treatments once every 3-4 weeks. A very serious condition has been reversed by almost 100%.
In January 2009 I went to Montenegro where I originally come from, and I went snow skiing after 21 years. To my absolute astonishment I could ski again without any pain anywhere. It felt as if I skied even better than all those years ago. No knee problems, no thigh muscle problems, no lower back problems. Not a sore bone or muscle and I skied +-5 hrs a day. It was heaven.
As days go by I feel better and better. Still some occasional pain here and there but that is, as I said, because I am still not 100% and pain tells me which area of my body is working out. Not once have I had a locked back again.
One can still see on me some parts of my “old body” i.e. my ballooned calves, hard upper back muscles and especially rather hard neck muscles, but they used to be like rocks. My friends used to say I had a posture of a water polo player but I don’t look like that anymore as my curved back has become straight again and I don’t crunch my shoulders any more to compensate for the lower back. Sitting with a pillow behind me has now become uncomfortable.
Fast walking and hiking are my latest passion but I can’t wait for my next skiing holiday.
I have gained full trust in Directed Pressure Point Technique and I now know that these few remaining problems too will reverse like the rest of my body did.

It is important to mention that on numerous occasions I was in a lot of discomfort and I wanted to stop the treatment, but understanding the process and knowing it would improve, made me persist. Once over each hurdle, I would feel much better and today I am so glad I persisted because once a particular problem goes away, it does not return.
Good luck with your perseverance!
